Project 42 is a program that seeks to make structured baseball accessible to children and youth, in particular those from marginalized and under-resourced communities. Since our inception in 2007, Y.A.A.A.C.E  has pride itself on having children and youth access sports, recreation and expanded opportunities irrespective of cost.  Y.A.A.A.C.E  seeks to pilot a comprehensive baseball strategy that resembles our basketball infrastructure in addition to erasing all the cost associated with playing baseball. YAAACE has secured commitments from several coaches including former Chicago Cub Scott Bullet and numerous others. The program will target children and youth from racialized and under-resourced communities through schools and community outreach. The mentorship model consists of coaches, university and college mentors, youth players and beginner players. YAAACE seeks to create an indoor facility and year round comprehensive programming that will facilitate skill development.
